Harry's Weight

We weigh his lordship occasionally and I notice his weight goes up and down. Do I need to worry? These are his reading this year (yes, I record them, it's like pussy cat Weight Watchers!):

19/01 - 5.2KG
26/01 - 5.55KG
16/02 - 5.5KG
19/05 - 5.4KG
13/07 - 5.35KG
31/08 - 5.25KG

Does this look reasonable? He's gone up and down but is about the same as he was at the beginning of the year. He eats normally (providing it's what he fancies on that particular day) and doesn't drink any more than he used to.

Looks reasonable to me. It will fluctuate a bit and could depend if he's recently used the litter tray.

It’s only fluctuating by 100g or so... that’s a bit of poo 😬

That's what I was hoping to hear but I do worry about him! He'd had a wee this morning so that could have made a difference as I don't know what he did last time!

I also think it's ok. Vets like cats weight to remain stable especially. He must just do some big poos!

Aw cute pics. We're just home from visiting my parents and our lad is still at the cattery so it's a bit odd not being greeted!

I hate the night that you come back and they aren't there!

We're looking forward to seeing him (DD especially so) but at least we won't be woken up by him at the crack of dawn!
