Cheddar came with some from the rescue as apparently the Persian food made her sick. (Hasn't done since being here) trying to use it up mixed with the Persian food. But omg her poo smells awful. Never had an issue with smelly poo on Persian food. Anyone else had this issue?!

Royal canin isn't a very good food tbh. Not a lot of meat and lots of cereals

Terrible food!

dementedpixie · 28/08/2018 20:28

From googling its first ingredient is maize/ corn!

Both the toddler girls have done really well on the Persian variety and have beautiful coats and no hair balls. It's just the smell when it comes out the other end I'm wondering about, as not had this issue on the Persian . Not the quality of the food.

But it could be the quality of the food and the ingredients causing the smelly poo. Cats can be intolerant to grains and it can affect their bowels. I use grain free food for my two

Toddlerteaplease · 28/08/2018 21:31

Maybe that particular variety. Never had an issue with the Persian.

Have the same with Exigent Savour, unfortunately the only biscuits youngest will eat. She doesnt eat a lot of them daily but you certainly know when she's been to her tray!

Persian is designed for indoor, idle cats so probably has something to reduce the pong. Snorg is a burier. Unfortunately Cheddar isn't!
