So

Our 9 year old Rosie has been off colour for a few days; she’s been tired in the heat but suddenly looked poorly. So off to the vets.

DH took her. Vet has found a tumour which might or might not be cancerous. Whatever it’s not in an operable place. We have strong steroids to try to shrink it, which might solve it or if cancerous give her some pain free months.

Obviously if the steroids don’t shrink it she will be PTS.

just wanted to mention it. Nothing anyone can do now but we’re all in bits. Poor little girl.

Sending Rosie good wishes and hoping all goes well Flowers

Very sad evening. Rosie was up and down on the steroids but no weight gain. She collapsed this evening and we have been to the emergency vet and she has been PTS. it was the right thing but man is it hard.
