He's been in my garden for two days, on and off.

Extremely friendly, I supervised DS in saying hello and he couldn't of cared less. The moment he sees us he turns on his back for a stroke.

Look at his beautiful eyes! He's really difficult to photograph though.

I'm wondering if he's lost? Sad

None of my neighbours have cats, that I know of. And he seems quite skinny.

Not sure what to do

Gorgeous! I’m sure a pedigree cat like that would have a home, but may be lost. Will your local RSPCA scam him/her for a microchip?

EachandEveryone · 20/08/2018 20:16

He’s beautiful and needs checking for a chip if he’s not going anywhere

WhatsInAnotherNameChange · 20/08/2018 20:17

Those blue eyes are stunning!

FogCutter · 20/08/2018 20:24

Do you have a local FB group or lost and found cats page? On ours there are kind people who will come out and scan cats to see if they are chipped and who to.

DonaldLovesDoritos · 20/08/2018 20:29

He does disappear sometimes but is always back again! Not sure why, I'm not feeding him

Also, he's pedigree? Sorry to be dim, but how can you tell?

I thought he would be the equivalent of a mongrel since he looks mixed with different breeds... Please don't judge me too much on my sheer lack of knowledge in general Grin

Sadly no local FB pages, I've looked

I'd say someone's missing him. Could you put up a poster or 2 and take one to your local vets to see if they know him?

viccat · 20/08/2018 20:45

He looks Siamese in colouring but not in face shape so could be a Siamese cross.

He doesn't look skinny to me. He could be lost, though. Pop a paper collar on him that says "Am I Your Cat?" with your phone number. If he is going home, hopefully owner will call you. Attach the paper collar with tape but leave a bit without tape so it can be broken off if it gets caught on something.

Allergictoironing · 20/08/2018 22:25

Looks a lot like a Burmese to me, especially with that colouring and mask. A local vet may oblige by scanning him/her for a microchip?

madeyemoodysmum · 20/08/2018 22:52

He could be just coming back because your feeding him. Cats can visit and make use of several homes for food sources.

Get him checked for a chip it if that doesn't help stop feeding him for a few days. If he is a scrounger he will go back to his proper home.

DonaldLovesDoritos · 21/08/2018 09:31

made Apologies if you missed it but as I say, I'm definitely not feeding him

DH is insistent he's seen him around the area before, and that he belongs to someone because he's seen him for months

His coat is in very good condition if he is lost
