Replacement food

Not for me, for my boss (or more to the point, one of his cats).

Boss has 2 cats, one was originally got as a replacement for his daughter's cat but decided that my Boss was The One For Him, immediately bonded. He is fed Royal Canin both wet and dry & is happy & healthy on that. Other cat was part of a pair that his daughter & her DP got, but when they moved out they could only take one cat so the little girl stayed with Boss. She's OK with the dry food, but decided that she couldn't possibly touch the Royal Canin wet, so they tried her on Wainwrights; she decided that the tuna flavour (and only that) was edible.

I have now introduced the boss to Zooplus, where he started to squeak (in a happy way) at the food prices. But then he realised they don't do Wainwrights.

So his question is - has anyone got suggestions for a food that Zooplus supply that is the same sort of texture etc as the Wainwrights, that he can try his little girl on, rather than him going to Pets at Home for her food? And that comes in Tuna...

Wainwrights is pate style I think so most of the good stuff should suit. My 2 don't like pate style so they refuse good stuff and eat crap stuff instead. They have high meat dry food though so it evens out a bit

Doesn't he realise that if his princess wants Wainwrights then he must buy Wainwrights?!

Oh his princess gets Wainwrights at present (tuna flavour, as preferred), both cats are very indulged. Even though in theory she owns his daughter's DP not him and he is completely owned by his boy, he has enough kitty love for them both. I gather that when daughter & her DP settle in a new home she will stay with boss, he has the excuses that "she's settled here" and "my boy will miss the company" - nothing to do with the fact she makes cute little noises & sits on his lap in winter.

It's just that if he COULD find something she likes as much (or more) that he can get in Zooplus it would save him hassle & money. And I don't want him hassled or stressed, he's too good a boss to lose to ill health (we talk more about cats than work some days Grin).

I went from wainwrights to lilly’s kitchen without much fuss (well the cat did).

This is kitten food though but assume adult food is the same pate texture
