Introducing Cheddar

Hi. My name is Cheddar and I'm a red Persian exotic. I'm 7. I moved in couple of days ago with my new sister Snorg. I'm still very nervous but love having cuddles and being brushed.

Oh hooray! What does Snorg think?!

What a cutie-pie.

Toddlerteaplease · 17/08/2018 09:45

Snorg is completely uninterested!

Oh how gorgeous! And what a name Grin

PinkSparklyPussyCat · 17/08/2018 10:39

She's gorgeous!

Harry waves hello!

Toddlerteaplease · 17/08/2018 10:53

I only learned yesterday that Cheddar is not spelt Chedder. I've put a collar and tag on her and she's freaked out by the tag. Probably because her name is wrong! Oops.

They both wave to Harry.

You do realise you have probably insulted her now?!

We tried putting a collar with a bell on Harry once - he was terrified by it and we had to take it off. He was OK with a tag but not the bell.

Strange boy!

Toddlerteaplease · 17/08/2018 11:17

I've had to remove the bell from her collar this morning as that was also freaking her out!

Oh she's lovely Toddler. I had a feeling you might cave in... Grin

YesItsMeIDontCare · 17/08/2018 12:05

You spelled her name wrong? How rude! Bad human!!!

Leroy waves a paw "Hello" to Chedd A r and has declared you need some serious training.

How long 'til your sister comes up with a nickname? (I think it was your sister?)

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 17/08/2018 12:06

Delighted to see that Snorg has a new friend house-mate. Looking forward to progress reports Wink

Toddlerteaplease · 17/08/2018 12:24

I think she'll struggle this time as cheddAr is such a cute name! I'm am in the process of ordering a new tag with her name spelt correctly. I'm 36 and never knew it was AR!

Awww congrats on your new addition! But so sorry to hear of the circumstances, RIP Farty💜
Thought your post would be about feeding your cat cheddar cheese Grin my Madam would love that, sadly her ass wouldn't and I'm the one that has to scoop the poop.
Madam BrokenCat's new sister arrives soon btw Grin so intro buddies.

Broken11Girl · 17/08/2018 13:00

Oops typo, Fatty, sorry 😅

Toddlerteaplease · 17/08/2018 17:01

Ha ha broken. That made me laugh!

Oh, she's gorgeous! I love her expression in the pic where you are stroking her on the stairs. Glad to hear Snorg is unfazed by the new arrival.

I thought 'Chedder' was a deliberately quirky spelling when I saw it on one of your other threads! Great name, though - makes me think of Cheshire Cheese/Cheshire Cat grins.

cheesefield · 17/08/2018 17:59

Cheddar is perfect for her. That photo of her getting a brush kills me.

Mine recognised the call of "brushy brushy" more than his own name. He comes flying and flops down for a full body brush. Call his actual name and he just looks at you with vague annoyance as if he expects to be deflead.

Toddlerteaplease · 17/08/2018 18:55

I've just updated her microchip and her actual name is Mini Cheddar! Too cute. She's also only 6 if she was chipped as a kitten.

ScreamingValenta · 17/08/2018 18:57

Mini Cheddar - awww!

Icequeen01 · 17/08/2018 19:34

How lovely to meet your new addition and I was so sorry to hear about Fatty. I almost felt like I knew her from all your posts and photos. She was one very lucky cat to be so loved and quite famous too!

Cheddar is gorgeous and you can see from her face that she knows she has fallen on her feet coming to live with you. I look forward to reading about Cheddar's adventures and hope her and Snorg are soon firm friends.

Toddlerteaplease · 18/08/2018 10:20

Phew. She's finally had a poo and another huge wee. Got woken up three times in the night, by her scrabbling in the tray. Don't think she likes a shallow one. Will try he sharing Snorg's huge one. She shared at the rescue.
And came out of hiding for treats. She's such a snuggle chops!

She has such a cute face! She looks as though she's saying 'give me a cuddle!'.

thewreckofthehesperus · 18/08/2018 11:55

What a beauty

Toddlerteaplease · 18/08/2018 12:04

How weird. The photo I posted, isn't the one that's currently on the post.
