Can anyone advise what this could be on kittens leg?

I noticed today that my kitten had a bold patch on the top of one of her hind legs but she wouldn't let me near to get a look.
She's finally dropped off to sleep and I've managed to get a good look and there are a couple of red sores there.
I've attached some photos because I'm just not sure what it could be. Any advice before I can get a vet app tomorrow will be much appreciated!

Potentially ringworm. I would take to vet's on Monday for a check up.

Not an expert, but one of my cats gets those if he picks up fleas - he has an allergy to them. He then overgrooms the spot and loses fur. Advocate sorts it out and they quickly disappear. This summer has been bad for fleas as they thrive in hot weather. If it is fleas, you'll need a treatment specifically for kittens, so best go to your vet - the adult treatments are too strong for them.

It's a vets visit.

I also thought you meant your cat sounded like an elephantGrin I've been known to check DH is OK, when it turns out the thud I heard was PuffinCat jumping off something - she only weighs 3.3kg!

YY to them remembering things - when PuffinCat (normally very vocal) went into a cattery for a few weeks she went completely silent. The first sound she made was when she spotted us coming to collect herSmile

Sorry, few days in a cattery, not a few weeks!

Wrong thread, sorry!

It looks like Ringworm, a fungal infection. You'll need to see a vet for it. Ringworm is contagious, so can be passed on to any other pets/you/any children.
