As part of International Cat Day, International Cat Care and the BVA launched their Heath Over Looks campaign trying to highlight some of the health issues associated with certain breeds. The attached photo is part of the campaign.
Having recently come across a dwelf cat this is something I am particularly passionate about.

Yes. I agree. I love Persians but the very squished faces are terrible. Fortunately mine aren't that bad but it still caused breathing issues. And I've just lost one who had very bad cardiomyopathy, which was probably genetic as her sister is also slightly affected. She was only 7. I'd love to have more Persians in the future as they are such lovely cats but the health issues put me off.
They were rescued from a kitten farm by the sounds of it. So don't even get me started on that!
