-Terrified or everything and everyone, likes cats but not people

-Absolutely crazy, into everything and everyone's friend

-Bit of a live wire, baby if the bunch and always on the go

Loopy but loving!

Mine is 9 months old and she's nuts! She has 24 hours of crazy and then spends the next 24 hours snuggling and snoozing. She has her favorite toy that she takes everywhere - takes him for meals, bed, the loo, the window, makes sure he has a bath in her water bowl everyday. But after all that she loves a good snooze on her dad's hairy belly!

My lovely tyrant is no longer with us, but he was a pre-Revolution Russian aristocrat with a bit of street thug thrown in for good measure. He even looked a bit like a Russian hat when he was curled up, although I don't think Russian hats usually have as many whirling claws as he did.

Fatty is very timid but very bossy once she's comfortable with you. She also completely dominates her sister if given the chance. Very affectionate and placid.

Snorg is also very placid and affectionate. Not as brainless as you think she is! She snores like a man.

1...very chilled and laid back. 18and seen it all

Rescued 5 years ago. Welfare case. About 8 now. Was terrified of own shadow. Still scared of noise and bags, weirdly. Makes you wonder what happens to him in his former life. Now soppy with DH and me.
rescued a year ago. Used to hide under the bed 24/7 and scowl at anyone so much as looking at him. Since we’ve moved house is a complete outdoor cat, king of the street and really happy in himself
Mother of kittens below. Rescued 2months ago. Old owners abandoned her when they moved. Strayed for a while until neighbours noticed she was pregnant. Seems to understand she’s landed on all 4 paws now. Complete purr pot and cutie. Farts a lot

5 and 6. 12 week old kittens of 4 above. Rescued at the same time. One of them is outgoing, and fearless. Almost feral. The other, coming round to cuddles. Purrpot like mother.

I’m already trying to convince DH that 1 more won’t make a difference...

Girlcat is very poised, elegant, "classy" looking, knows her own mind. She will be stroked on HER terms in a place of HER choosing, i.e. lying on the back of the sofa just in reach (but where I have to be uncomfortable to get to her properly), head towards me if she wants head/neck, bum towards me if she wants belly. Will occasionally have a mad half hour, but mostly laid back as long as there's nobody else in the house. Tends to look out for her brother, except when there's treats...

Boycat is adorable, thick as shit, terrified of anything new especially people, about as clumsy as a cat can get and very slow at picking things up - he's referred to as borderline special needs as we genuinely think he has a problems. Gets insecure moments when he gobbles down all his food then throws it back up 2 minutes later. Won't sit on me, but I have to sit next to him on his end of the sofa & do head and belly rubs - then he'll suddenly jump up & run away in a panic about nothing. Same on my bed last thing at night & in the morning; plus he can only be cuddled if my head is at the foot end of the bed. Never any indication of what's panicked him.

They are litter brother & sister, but from personalities you would never think so!

Cuddly, affectionate and wants to be with us all the time. Scared of anyone who isn’t us. Scared of outside. Will be a bit cheeky if not getting her way but mostly a good girl.

She's not quite all there, she has occasional petit-mal seizures so that explains most of it I suppose. However - she can hear the rustling of a packet from quite some distance, and woe betide me if it doesn't have Dreamies in it She sits at my feet in anticipation.

She's also recently taken a liking to being outside (after years of being a housecat) and has spent much of the recent heatwave snoozing on the rockery in our garden in the blazing heat.

Loves being scratched (quite hard) under the chin, likes the tummy tickle, but growls if you stroke her back when she's lying down and you wouldn't want to put your hand near her when she's going all soppy on the dining room chair -- she's lulling you into a false sense of security...

We tried the catnip mouse - she lies there licking & sucking it and getting dribble on the carpet.

littlecat is actually just a bit of a git. If you so much as lean forward on the sofa she dives in behind you and steals your spot, she pounces on your ankles when you go upstairs. She wakes you up by sitting on your head even though she doesn't need food or letting out she just likes to spoil your morning,

bigcat lives on a higher level than the rest of us and generally spends the day contemplating things we couldn't even begin to understand.

Persistent, aggressive to cats who step on his land, confident but a bit on edge in case anyobe will step on his paws. Playful and actually quite a soppy needy young lad really.

A ginger Tom. Love him. He is a stray from when I worked in the middle of town. Was having lunch outside as I had done so many times - I saw this adorable face pop up. Scraggy bodd
y, skinny and bereft. Apparently being fed intermitenly by passers by. Left it a few days - he kept coming to see me.
He is now in my home and I love him so much. Up to him if he wants to leave but we are nearly 4 years in!
Ps. I am an ex CPL charity shop worker.

We're only two weeks into ours life together but our little 2 year old tabby rescue boy is a little funniun. Initially was very timid but takes comfort in lots of cuddles on the sofa, our bed or anywhere else. Very clingy and follows us round everywhere. Generally pretty happy curled up being cute but dose have a crazyyy two hours at 3.30 am - the only time that he will touch all the noisy toys we bought him

Aloof this boy is not, and has absolutely no sass whatsoever

Soft as butter. Just wants his mama, cuddles, brush and food. Howls if another cat glances at him. Runs away from all humans except me. Will sit and tolerate small children (next doors child likes to call him Lolly and show him her drawings)

Confident, chilled, takes most things in his stride, including coming on holiday with us.
Walked in the house like he owned it when we got him from the RSPCA as a 12 week old kitten. Had a good look round, drank, ate, used his litter tray, played and slept, none of this namby pamby hiding in a dark corner for days like some cats!
Seems to think he is one of the kids rather than a cat. He is especially attached to dd2 and runs up to her meowing when she gets up or he hasn’t seen her for a couple of hours.
Is intelligent and vocal, and very affectionate - he throws himself on the floor for tummy rubs but is not a lap cat.
Eats me out of house and home, and sleeps an awful lot in bad weather. In fact sleeps well generally and won’t usually wake me up till 9ish at the earliest, often 10 or 11am.
Loves the back door to be open so he can wander in and out.
I call him the golden child because he is so little trouble. Although he was naughty last time for not coming in till well after midnight.

DramaCat is a big ginger boy. He is demanding, extremely vocal, very cuddly, great with dogs and a bit dim. And we love him lots.

He hates ds1. Swipes for his legs every time he walks past - sleeps with him most nights though.

Black and white cat - has the look of a mischievous 12 year old boy! As cats go, he has an extremely expressive face. Easy going, affectionate and lies on his back, so we can tickle his tummy; but when he has had enough, he puts a back paw up as a warning - ignore that and he will scratch! Very curious - he watches everything we do, especially in the bathroom where he is agog! Obsessed with food and will eat anything - pouches have to be kept in Fort Knox, so we get tins now! Specialises in catching mice - but he brings them in and then loses them! He constantly squeaks for affection, and to go in and out despite the cat flap!

Black cat sister - inscrutable! Only two facial expressions - normal and terrified! Equally affectionate, but only on her terms! She looks a bit vacant, but actually is brighter than her brother. We tried to teach him how to use the catflap, but he ran away terrified - she worked it out by herself. She is equally obsessed with food, but only goes for our meat, milk and eggs. A very quiet, unobtrusive little cat - she has only scatched us once in 2.5 years when we were trying to catch her to put in the cat carrier!

As DH said, for two ex feral cats, did they always have such lovely personalities, or is it because their human fosterer was so kind to them?

6 year old twin boys

One is terrified of pretty much everyone but see another cat and he's Connor McGregor. He is very much DDs cat and follows her round like a lamb, so much so that if she goes anywhere on foot she has to allow an extra five minutes to carry him back home several times. He throws me the odd crumb of affection occasionally by rubbing round my legs and makes me feel like I have really won him over.

The other is an ugly, shouty, won't take no for an answer, demanding PITA but so so loving and affectionate and far too clever for his own good - can open cupboards and the fridge

Toddler your girls are Mensa quality compared to Boycat.

Remember this is that cat who took 14 months to work out he could jump onto the bed for a comfy sleep, 13.5 months longer than his sister. And the cat who more than once has fallen off the arm of the sofa when he's just woken up. Took nearly a year to get the courage to clamber up onto the living room windowsill via the cat tree - mainly because he took almost that long to get his nerve up to get onto said cat tree above floor level; jumping straight onto the windowsill took longer. I could go on, but I think you get the message...
