Fatty you little bugger.

Came home from work this morning and thought Fatty looked quite unhappy. Sitting crouched up and then hid. (Normally she's all over me when I come in) wouldn't respond to treats being rattled. I'm getting very concerned and wondering about the V E T. Crack open a sachet of kitten food and the little bugger comes thundering downstairs and face straight in the food. Now sitting next to me grooming her self and purring!
You little madam, I need my sleep, stop giving me a scare!

Typical! Harry has been off his food an looked thoroughly miserable but as soon as I got the biscuit box out he was there stuffing his face!

I'm glad Fatty is OK. I'm sure they make it their life's mission to worry us!

Want2beme · 02/08/2018 10:27

We're all stressed to he'll with the little furry nightmaresGrin. Fatty seems in good form.

YetAnotherSpartacus · 02/08/2018 11:21

I'd be sussing out what she had done wrong while you were out... or is that other cat still around?

Toddlerteaplease · 02/08/2018 13:09

Well one of them has been peeing on the front door mat. And it won't be Snorg. Can't find her again. This is unusual for her.

Found her, she's in her turtle bed. I thought they'd stopped using it! Still can't shake the feeling that something isn't right. Might run her to the vets for a check up tomorrow. She had her diuretics doubled and a new drug started last week. So it may be just that.

YetAnotherSpartacus · 02/08/2018 13:31

Yes, take her to the vet, for your peace of mind if nothing else.

Toddlerteaplease · 02/08/2018 18:18

She seems absolutely fine now! Her coat is looking better than it has in months. I did omit her frusemide this morning though, but she's had full dose this evening. So will see what she's like tomorrow morning. She has been sneezing since coming back from the cattery and her eyes are a bit gunky, so I wonder if she's got a virus.
Also don't think she likes the variety of treats being offered. She refused the first lot but gobbled some other ones.
Seriously these two will be the death of me!

Awwwww, thank you - double gorgeous fluffiness! Are the bothered by all this heat?

Toddlerteaplease · 02/08/2018 23:12

Yes. They don't like it at all. Both very subdued and don't eat much.

Toddlerteaplease · 03/08/2018 08:03

Ps. Love the name fattums, might have to adopt that!

Fattums chilling out this morning!

OP posts:
YetAnotherSpartacus · 03/08/2018 10:12

Not to be rude, but she looks like she has a hole or bare patch in her side ... ?

Toddlerteaplease · 03/08/2018 13:47

The groomer cut her tummy quite short and the cardiologist has shaved a patch on her chest to be able to scan her heart.

OP posts:
YetAnotherSpartacus · 03/08/2018 14:00

Ohhhh! Poor Fattums! does this mean we also have a Snorgles

PinkSparklyPussyCat · 03/08/2018 17:01

Oh bless her.

Harry had the shaved patch and he said to tell Fattums that at least she hasn't got the indignity of her slave taking the mickey because she's got grey and pink skin!

Toddlerteaplease · 03/08/2018 19:10

Snorgles is adorable so yes we do!

Isn't that Lady Fattums and Lady Snorgles? Or should it be Baroness?

Omg, the little madam gave me such a run around this morning when I was trying to give her her pills. She's not done that in months! She deliberately stayed out of the lounge and I ended up having a stand off with her under my bed. I won!

OP posts:
YetAnotherSpartacus · 04/08/2018 12:48

You won the battle. It's a diuretic, isn't it? ...

Toddlerteaplease · 04/08/2018 14:23

She's on five different drugs, 4 tablets twice a day. Usually I can confine her to the lounge and she gives a token run around before being caught easily. Not this morning! Hope she's not going to make it a habit, I've not got time in the morning!

OP posts:
YetAnotherSpartacus · 04/08/2018 14:27

Oh, my Goodness! I didn't realise it was that many. Good for you Fatty for normally being a good girl.

Let's hope you don't find any puddles later ...
