Where does everyone out there litter tray, indoor cat, and also have a dog who has free reign of downstairs.
Two kiddy winks one under one so needs to be somewhere safe. The kids have there own bathroom and ours is onsuite, so Unsure whether the bathroom is a good idea or not

I have mine in the space under the kitchen units that the dishwasher/ dryer would go in. I've got nowhere else for it to go. It's a top entry one and doesn't smell.

Fluffycloudland77 · 29/07/2018 22:14

I have mine up on the work top in the utility room.

Used to be in my bathroom in my old flat and I lived alone.
Then by back door when I moved in with my DP until we got the dog.
Once dog arrived, I moved it into the spare room upstairs. Cat basically owns the spare room - all food etc is in there too, as a safe space away from dog and all visitors if she wants it although she has free reign of the whole house (also an indoor kitty).

Ours is in the bathroom. We live in a 2 bed flat so best place is there despite bathroom being tiny. He does prefer to go behind the bushes in the garden but the tray is there for overnight etc.

Mine is in the utility room but when I was in a flat I had two in the bathroom.

Utility room with internal cat flap off kitchen door

NC4Now · 29/07/2018 22:49

Ours is in the bathroom.

In the garage.

I put the litter tray inside a larger deeper box so any litter they kick out doesn’t go everywhere.

PinkSparklyPussyCat · 30/07/2018 11:20

Ours is in the bathroom.

Mine’s in the utility room. I purposefully left a space for a “tumble dryer” rather than adding a unit when I re-did my kitchen/utility room/toilet knowing I was actually going to be using it for the litter tray. I’ve got one a hooded tray to keep both the smell and litter in.

In the downstairs toilet, covered box. It’s rarely used now though as he has his favourite corner in the garden 😬

Normaknowall · 02/08/2018 11:38

In the hall tucked into an alcove. Doesn't smell as use marvellous catsan in a bag which has a thick liner, and he tends to go outside for poops😳.
Has v tasteful wooden frame and a mat which contains most kicked out litter.
