These late nights

Once again I am sitting on my back doorstep waiting for my cat Ellie. She's 16 months old now and had discovered the joy of hunting and warm summer evenings.
I can hear rustles in the ivy but she's ignoring me.
Think I fed her too early so she's not caring about treats.
She has a cat flap but I want her in before I sleep. It's so frustrating!

I know. My mum's cat has just discovered the joy of late summer nights (she's just over a year old) and didn't come home at all last night. My mum got no sleep whatsoever worrying. She's back now ...

A lot of mine haven't been coming in at all except to eat, but they never go very far, and I've a very safe 'garden onto garden' set up, so I just leave them to it.

She doesn't go far but I do worry. However she has woken me up meowing as it's raining outside. She's in now and quite indignant to be wet! Still having issues using cat flap Grin
