Fatty's 'horrible' heart.

Had another scan. The fluid around her heart is worse but there has been some improvement in her heart. She's got to increase her diuretics and start on yet another tablet. Which takes the total to five! Would help if I could get the lid off the new one though!

Thank you Beefcake. Yes they are beautiful. Fortunately she's very well with her heart disease, you'd have no idea she's so ill. Fortunately she's a dream at taking so many pills. If she hated it I'd stop. But she's a happy and bossy overlord for the minute!

Lovely Fatty! She's lost weight (unless it's the angle of the photo)! I hope that the new medication regime improves her condition.

Yes. Unfortunately she's lost a lot of weight. She went into the cattery weighing 2.9kg and came out weighing 2.4. Today she weighs 2.55. I'm feeding her kitten food but otherwise struggling to fatten her up as she won't eat supplements. And I do t want to fatten then already over weight Snorg up! She's eating well. But hopefully will pick up when it cools down.

Bless her. She is a good cat. It makes life so much easier when they are easy to medicate!

She's a total super star. I'm so proud of her. But I think we've reached the limit of numbers of tablets it's possible to give her. Not sure how I'm going to get all the morning ones into the pill popper!

Harry bravely lifts a paw and waves weakly at his girls as he's hardly eaten all day as his useless slave didn't realise he wants a change of food. He also asks can he go and live with you and the girls as they are much better looked after than him?

Harry is very welcome, however he should be aware before he packs his bag that they only have Royal canin persian food and the occasional pouch as a treat. Fatty is currently having a ouch of kitten food to get some calories into her and she says he can share that. It's got tiny pieces and is really easy for her to eat. They seem to struggle with mousses and pate. They will also only eat the cheap stuff!

He says he liked the Persian food you sent him (I think it gave him ideas above his station!) so that won't be a problem! He comes with a stash of Mollys Mice that he's willing to share with the girls!
