Too much water?

So I appreciate it is ludicrously hot but one of my cats is drinking A LOT .... should I be concerned or am I just being ridiculous?

Does the cat eat wet or dry food. If he/she eats mainly dry food then it's perfectly normal. However if it eats mainly wet, and is older, and this is new behaviour then, regardless of the hot weather, I think it would be worth checking out.

It can be a sign of kidney problems so def see the vet if it continues.

Shall see if it continues and then take him to the vet if continues but probably the heat and dry food! Knew I was probably being ridiculous!
