Does anyone use Stronghold?

Do you use Stronghold or Stronghold Plus? My vet has given me a prescription for the latter but I was under the impression that was only for existing parasitic infections (I have only just seen the prescription, otherwise I would have asked!)

It's stronghold plus that my 2 are prescribed monthly

Colin used to have monthly stronghold but then after a massive flea infestation, they didscovered he was too heavy for it to be effective

You normally get a dose that is tailored to the weight of the cat I.e. the ones my cat gets does up to 5kg and there is a different one for heavier cats

Also - MEGA stupid question coming up...
Prescription is for 2 so given they come in boxes of 3 that is 6 month's supply. It then says 'Repeat for maximum one time'.

Does that mean I can use it to order another 6 month's supply or it can only be used once?!
