Look what the Cattery gave me!

I must have mentioned that I was sad that I didn't have a photo of the girls together. Especially in view of Maia's poor prognosis. One of the staff is a artist. Abs she gave me this as a surprise. I'm unbelievably touched, she's got them spot on. She completely fell in love with them, nearly didn't get them back!

Oh my goodness! That is so lovely - both the thought and the artwork!

I must have missed the news about the poor prognosis? :( Last I heard Fatty was doing OK and Snorg was fine?

sashh · 24/07/2018 11:56

Fabulous, how nice.

Toddlerteaplease · 24/07/2018 12:03

Fatty is fine at the minute. But her prognosis has been very poor since she was diagnosed. And the last scan wasn't great. She's lost 400g while at the cattery. So need to try and get it back on, plenty of kitten food I think.

That is beautiful.

TheLongRider · 24/07/2018 16:15

That's lovely! It really does look like them, she's captured their eyes perfectly.

PinkSparklyPussyCat · 24/07/2018 16:23

That's beautiful.

Love and purrs to you and the girls from Harry and I.

thecatneuterer · 24/07/2018 22:05

That's such a lovely thing to happen!

Toddlerteaplease · 24/07/2018 22:49

I just couldn't believe it. I suddenly had a lot of dust in my eyes! I took them a box of chocs as they'd worked so hard st bringing them out of their shells and could see a huge difference between the photos taken last year and this year.

OP have you tried her on a raw diet and cbd oil?

Wolfiefan · 24/07/2018 22:53

Oh wow. That's stunning. Can you get it framed?

TheThirdOfHerName · 24/07/2018 23:14

Lovely sketch (and lovely gesture)

Vinorosso74 · 24/07/2018 23:30

That is a lovely gesture so thoughtful! I was worried what the "gift" was going to be after a cattery stay.....

Toddlerteaplease · 25/07/2018 02:03

Beaver, no I haven't. As I strongly suspect she would t eat it. She'll only eat wet food if it's an occasional treat. Between them they've polished off a sachet of kitten food and are on their third bowl of dry food. So I think they just didn't eat much at the cattery.

The picture fitted into a frame I already had so was on the living room wall within 5 minutes!

That’s amazing! How kind.

Want2beme · 25/07/2018 16:29

They're lovely. How nice to have them.Smile

TroysMammy · 25/07/2018 18:53

That is so lovely. My partner gave me framed pencil drawings of my late cats Barnaby and Troy. He had commissioned them for my birthday last year. I promptly burst into tears.

Toddlerteaplease · 25/07/2018 21:26

I cried when she gave me this. She has captured them perfectly!

Fluffycloudland77 · 26/07/2018 15:40

That's a lovely drawing of them. You'll treasure it forever.

Toddlerteaplease · 26/07/2018 17:02

I certainly will. They are both doing the 'big eyed give me treats look'
