Structure to help cat look out of window

Anyone have a stand/tower/structure cat to sit on and look out of the window. Something that stands on the floor and provides height.

I've seen them in pet shops from £30 upwards - not great quality.

Any ideas?

What about something like this?
I’ve had towers from them and all been good quality

My cats have a set of three steps from
Kalven. They love it.

Pet planet usually have good discounts on cat trees - we’ve got a massive tall ones and it’s good quality - going strong for 2 cats and looks fine.

I got a 3 tower one from Pets At Home. Still going strong after 2 years - cats are only small, compared to us!

May I refer you to the Ikea Kallax thread...?
We have one in the bedroom that height-wise pops up above the windowsill. We have lined the inside of the top cube with soft fluffy blankets and stuck some scratching mats to the sides at the bottom. Cats love it. Plus the other cubes are handy storage for books etc for us humans so it's more functional than a cat tree usually is.

We have a proper cat tree downstairs but in a raised alcove behind the TV sitting on top of a cupboard. They like it in there too as they can survey the whole room from on high Grin

I have a small cat tree from Pets At Home in the bedroom in front of a window, they love it. I agree some are flimsy but if you spend a bit more, you can get a really sturdy, nicely fluffy one (ours is grey rather than the usual beige).

We have this one, flower shaped basket tree thing. It is a bit more expensive than the others we looked at when shopping but it has turned out to be worth every penny, very sturdy, not a single wobble and looks quite nice in the window too. www.zooplus.co.uk/shop/cats/scratching_posts/medium/medium_cat_tree_height_140_cm/444113

Good to know the cat trees get used. Was worried my bunch would look at in disgust as per the cat igloo.

And will investigate what Ikea has to offer {smile}
