‘self play’ toys?

Not really sure if that’s the right term!

I’m after some suggestions for toys that will keep my boycat occupied during the day. He does go out but I worry that he is bored when he’s in.

I play with him and we have lots of feathers on a string etc but I work nights. So during the day when I’m asleep I worry he’s bored.

We have 3 cats in total but the 2 girls are nowhere near as energetic as he is. He’s always, always ready to chase something, be it a proper toy or the tie from my dressing gown. He could be half asleep and still be ready to jump around if he sees anything fly past him.

There’s lots of toy mice about that he does drop kick from time to time Grin but he needs things to flit around.

I picked up a couple of toys that ‘crawl’ about but they are too slow for him.

I feel so guilty when I have to sleep, he almost looks like he has his bottom
lip out sometimes when we stop playing!

A family member has a laser toy that's "self Play" I'll see if I can find it. Have you looked in Pets at Home they seems to have a lot of automatic toys.
