So so excited getting teobabies next weeks from a cat charity, Mum was a stray. We need kittens as an older cat wouldn’t get on with our dog.

One is a champagne/apricot colour and a boy
One is a tortie girl

I like Kylo and Rey DH think they are too twee

Others I like are Arlo and Tia

Pictures will follow

just remember what ever names you pick at some point when they go out you will have to stand at the door and call their names loud enough for the neighbours to hear you, my four are called, biscuit, blue, luna and sam

sweetkitty · 09/07/2018 23:48

Went to see them today and chose a tortie girl, so teeny.

I’m thinking of Leo and Luna now

Leo and Luna sound great!

One of ours is called Ghetto, and we happen to live in a place considered by many to be a ghetto. This is a coincidence, but does make us try to avoid using his actual name when talking to him on the patio. Grin

I'd call them Marmalade and Tallulah (and DH would veto me - again) but I've never had an orange cat and I've wanted Tallulah for every female cat I've had including 3 of our current six.

Leo and Luna sounds good too though - we have a Luna.

RayRayBidet · 10/07/2018 07:12

We've got two boys called Ragnar and Rollo!

I'd go for two completely different names. Ours have rhyming names and were named before we got them and it still gets confusing. They get called "Harry, Barry, whatever your name is" on a regular basis (not their real names).

Charlie and Lola.

We got two apricot/ginger kittens from our local rescue four years ago. They are both boys and DH decided they should have Scottish names! Here is Archie and Angus a couple of weeks after we got them - they are huuuuge now! Enjoy your two new little kitties. I would love another one but DH is having none of it!

Rescue reckon mum was dumped by a farm very pregnant as she walked into the farmhouse and an hour later gave birth to 5 kittens (one died). Mum is tiny and very young only a kitten herself, I would have taken her but she’s not used to dogs. At the same time another mum rejected her 4 kittens only one survived and was being bottlefed so they fostered her onto the other Mum.

Disgusting people dumping pregnant cats but there’s so many kittens for sale on Gumtree. People breeding their pets over and over again for fast money

beautiful kittens and yes working for a rescue this is a common story

ShowOfHands · 10/07/2018 18:10

We had kittens from the same litter and they were so very different from each other that they were called Noon and Midnight (different as night and day).

sweetkitty · 10/07/2018 21:59

That was harder than naming four DC
