Keeping kittens cool in this heat.

Hi fellow cat slaves, i have a 5 month old Maine coon who is really struggling with the heat, I keep her in during the day and let her In the garden with me in the evening she runs around with my DS, and then we have to stop as she is panting. At this point I bring her in, I put a damp towel down but she won't lay on it, she has water and cat milk but does not drink this.

Any other ideas?

Our cat has dry and wet food; I've been adding water to his wet food and mixing it all around and he eats/drinks it all. Try putting water bowls away from food bowls.
