Kittens sharing food

I am picking up my two kittens in a few weeks (sisters) and was wondering whether the norm would be to feed them out of the same bowl or have two separate bowls? They're being fed from the same at the minute, but will they start being defensive/eating too quickly because of this? Should I also get two litter boxes or are they ok to share that?

Thanks for any help!

I would go with two bowls, you may find they eat together but they might prefer the choice. Two trays is a good idea. Some people recommend one per cat plus one. I have found that litter mates will share. They sometimes like one tray for poo and one for pee. Pictures are compulsory by the way.

Two food bowls apart from each other so they dont gobble each others too, and two litter trays, pics please when they arrive.

They are quite possibly the cutest thing I’ve ever seen!

They are gorgeous and all squishy Smile

No advice but so cute loving the whiskers.

They are gorgeous!

My sibling cats like to swap bowls halfway through a meal (or swap places, rather!) but yes definitely separate ones as they grow bigger. Two litter boxes in different locations is good too.

Thank you all, I will definitely be getting another bowl and litter tray Smile yes aren't they amazing! We're naming the dark girl Tilly and the white one Mia

Aw they are gorgeous! mine two have two different style trays and they definately favour one over the other. They dont eat each others food. We have a water fountain. Dont forget to keep your water away from the food.
