Need to fatten cat up

We have a 3 yr old mog who lost quite a bit of weight due to stress when we got a new puppy. He is fine with the puppy now. The vet has seen him and is happy with him but said he needs to eat a bit more. She didn't recommend anything as such but said to give some wet food. What is a good and nutritious cat food?

I'm having the same issue. I'm going to buy her some kitten food. How on Earth I stop her fat sister eating it, I've not worked out!

I'm feeding natures menu kitten food which has put 0.2kg on mine in 5 days Smile seems to be working!
Cat/kitten milk too and treats

Can u buy kitten milk from supermarket? My neighbours kittens are really skinny i wish she’d spend some money on their food. Im almost looking forward to the day they start coming to me so i cam fatten them up.

I've just bought some Royal canin kitten food. Hopefully she'll eat it. How I keep her fat sister out of the way is yet to be decided! They don't get wet food often so it'll be a treat for her. Microchip feeders didn't work for these two. They aren't overly endowed with brain cells.

I was going to suggest kitten food too. Also if you give her both wet and dry will that encourage her to eat more because when she feels full up with dry she'll still want wet, and vice versa? Might add on a few calories. Smile

Sorry, he not she

Each you can certainly get it in Asda (though mine turned their noses up at it).

Well cat milk anyway, which I think is near enough the same

I bought some mousse but I think my two struggle with it unless it's cut into tiny pieces. Will have to stick to chunks.

Toddler - mine loves the applaws mousse, I mash it with a fork! Not kitten though
