Look at those little angels! I remember the sheer joy when I bottle fed a group of three for weeks and then one day one of them started grooming his paw for the first time. I was absolutely entranced, partly because I finally noticed he was polydactyl. He's still with us today, a rather gruff old gentleman now but also very sweet.
You're a hero for taking on seven :-) The reward is the most incredible cuteness on earth. They're beautiful.

Oh Looook!! They are adorable and though I am sure the sleep deprivation will be no fun the joy of watching them grow must be amazing!! Is dumping them like that common in Portugal? Do hope mum is ok.

Unfortunately it is common, I bottle fed 3 newborn pups in April, who have now gone to be homed by a local rescue charity. One was adopted on Saturday Smile

I left the kittens at about 1, then went back in about 4 and am going back in now. So far, each time I’ve gone in I’ve had to wake them up, so I’m letting them have a little longer as they don’t drink much if they’re too sleepy

Sadly two of the kittens passed away over the weekend. Hopefully the remaining 5 will stay strong Sad

A third one started to deteriorate yesterday so they were all taken into our local Vet hospital last night and put in an incubator. Fingers crossed they’ll be ok Sad

Ah keep us updated, so disheartening when you invest so much love (and time!).
I remember having 7 and staying at my friends-(taking kittens +box +supplies) we went out for a few drinks and came home slightly worse for wear and had to feed them during the night!!
Never did that again!!

The one who was deteriorating died, but the hospital says the other 4 are ok, for now. It’s possible that they have a problem that stops them absorbing the milk. I hope they’ll continue to thrive

I think I’m going to hand over to another foster carer, it’s been a rough few days

You’ve done loads for them and it would have been hard watching 3 kittens die like that.

Good news for the kittens, another rescue charity had a Mum cat who had lost her kittens so after 4 days observation in hospital, they have been introduced and she is taking really good care of the 4 remaining kittens ❤️

You have my respect Costa, putting your heart on the line like that.

What a beautiful union of momma cat without her kittens and kittens without their momma cat.

You look after yourself op.
