So backstory... Have two dogs and a cat already. Dogs are both 7ish. Cat is 10 just. Dogs stay downstairs, so cat rules the upstairs.
We had two cats until May when our other one was PTS.
Picking up a new kitten on Wednesday. Obviously current animals were used to another cat in the house but the cats were here before the dog and got both cats within a week of each other so known each other since day 1.
We will be starting with kitten in cat bedroom.
Getting him used to us and room first.
Then cat and upstairs
Then downstairs and dogs.
Any tips/advice?
Obv been 10 years since our last kitten so feeling a bit apprehensive and really want new kitten to be a happy well adjusted member!
