In September last year we got two kittens (one boy one girl) from the same litter. They're absolutely lovely, no trouble and adore each other, spending all day asleep wrapped around each other or prowling in the garden. We got them for DS (8) who loves cats and looks after them very well. He now wants a rag doll. I've found one that will be ready in September, but I'm not sure how it will fit in with our two. I'm worried about upsetting the current happy state of affairs...

I've been told about a Persian boy that I need to transport to the rescue I got my girls from. He's an absolute stunner and I'm very tempted to keep him, if the girls agree!

But I'm a bit concerned although They've been ok with previous interlopers. I haven't got space for another litter tray though!

Get two more together rather than just one. Easier for the incumbents and the new kittens have each other to play with.

While it's a lovely idea, I added a third cat to a similar set up and it really didn't work. The brother and sister never got on well again, even after the third cat was re-homed to my parents - I still loved the furry chap and I wasn't gonna let him go far.

Mine aren't over keen on each other. And being realistic fatty may may not live longer if her heart doesn't improve.

I’d just be concerned about how the new kitten would fit in. Ragdolls crave attention, do you think they would let him in the group?

We had two cats and ended adopting one from a friend of my son. Then both the older ones died and as he had been so good with the other two we adopted two sisters. The last time we saw the now first cat was when the new cats came home.He took one look at them and dashed out of the house, never to be seen again, be wary

The one I was going to transport, no longer needs to come to me. So my temptation is removed!
