Errr...'lovely shaped head'? What???

I'm trying to introduce the cat to a harness and the park opposite. I want her to have more life outside of our flat.

So earlier I was told it was the one of the sweetest things she'd ever seen by a lady (when I was tripping over cat lead) and just now some photographer bloke said she had a lovely shaped head. WTF??

Is she an exotic shorthair? My cat is and his a different shaped head than most cats maybe he was acknowledging the difference?

I once had a cat muleteer stranger shout at me

"That bloody thing looks like a cat!"

🤷🏼‍♀️

YesItsMeIDontCare · 15/06/2018 16:01

WTAF is a cat muleteer??? That was supposed to say complete!!!

LanguidLobster · 15/06/2018 16:02

No she's a moggie. I guess other people might like her head! Not that I don't I'd just never think of commenting on it.

She's taking well to the park and harness though.

Laughing my socks off at cat muleteer 😂

LanguidLobster · 15/06/2018 17:08

YesItsMe is an expert in cat harnesses (and muleteers, evidently!).

We're just taking our baby steps with it. I guess she hasn't gotten lost or strangled herself so all good so far. Just wasn't expecting all the curiosity about a cat on a lead, you get stopped every few paces

I would love to take my Bengal out on a harness but he just flattens himself right down and then tries to walk backwards out of it!

Weedsnseeds1 · 15/06/2018 17:37

I now have an image of yesitsme walking her cat in the park and finding the stranger driving a train of cats, heavily laden with military supplies completely unremarkable, other than the fact he commented on her cat's appearance...

DwangelaForever · 15/06/2018 17:50

@Canshopwillshop my exotic does the same 🙈 I saw A family walking a Bengal at the giants causeway the last time I was there and was like 😱 what is this sorcery as I've never known a cat to cooperate with a lead!

Canshopwillshop · 15/06/2018 17:55

😅 Dwangela - definitely think it takes more patience than I have available!

wibblywobblyfish · 15/06/2018 19:24

You see cats on harnesses all the time in France.

LanguidLobster · 16/06/2018 03:25

Well we've got our 'L' plates on we'll see how it goes. She's been brilliant so far

People say it about babies all the time, maybe its the same thing?
