Cat acting strange day after flea/worm treatment

Hello!

As the title suggests, I'm a bit worried about my cat and just wondered if anyone else has experienced a similar thing...

Yesterday I did flea and worm treatment for all 3 of my cats - with products I've used before (topical flea treatment on back of the neck, and worm tablet down the throat).

Two of my cats are fine, but one of them is acting quite strangely and I don't know if it's coincidence or not...

She's cleaning herself obsessively and also licking her lips a lot! Plus she's darting about quite randomly from one place to the other and not really settling anywhere.

Should I be worried? There's no other nasty symptoms that I've noticed, just the ones I've mentioned.

Keep an eye on her.

What brand was it? There's all sorts of reports of Bob Martin stuff making cats and dogs really ill, so if it was that, I wouldn't hang about... otherwise I agree with keeping an eye on her.

It definitely wasn't Bob Martin! Got both things prescribed from the vet... think the flea stuff was called something like Activyl?! And the wormer I honestly can't remember now. She seems to have settled a little bit at the moment so fingers crossed she's ok and it's nothing to worry about. Definitely keeping a good eye on her though!

My vet always advises to leave a week between flea and worming treatments rather than giving both at the same time.

I would just keep an eye on her for now.

My vet advises the same as viccat's - which is to leave a week between the flea treatment and the wormer. Hope your cat feels better soon.
