We got our gorgeous new kitten on Sunday and she seems to be settling very well. Eating and playing and (mainly) using her litter tray.

She is super attached to me already though..is this normal? I work from home so I've been in the kitchen/diner where we're keeping her till she gets settled and she follows me everywhere, cries when I go out the room and wants to sleep in my lap!

Photo attached so you can see just how cute she is!

She's a stunner! What's her name?

EachandEveryone · 06/06/2018 15:41

Just gorgeous!!

Wolfiefan · 06/06/2018 15:43

Oh bless her. How old?
You will get her neutered and chipped before letting her out won't you?! Shock

viccat · 06/06/2018 15:46

Do you have other cats? A solo kitten with no other pets in the home will require a lot more human attention.

massistar · 06/06/2018 15:47

She's 10 weeks and she's called Erica.. :)

She's had her first vaccinations so another 2 weeks before the next lot. Will definitely be getting her neutered as well.

She's so cuddly it's lovely.

No other cats Viccat .. that is worrying me a bit! By the time we thought to ask for a sibling they'd all gone. :(

Don't panic. We had two sisters. They used to cuddle up but now pretty much hate each other. Sad
Multi cat households can be lovely but some cats find them stressful. Ours are ok as they are out in the day and there is plenty of room for them to have their own space.
And if you're about all day it's not like she's alone and lonely.
She's lovely.

She is thoroughly attached & you are her mum now Grin

She’s gorgeous!

springbluebells · 06/06/2018 16:01

Ahh, you've got a cuddly one! I'm jealous... mine looks at me with contempt mostly... nothing worse than a judgmental moggie!!

massistar · 06/06/2018 16:20

Thanks all. Yes once she's vaccinated and neutered she'll be allowed out so won't be quite so intense I guess!

Not getting much done work wise..

Awww cute! Ours is the same... nearly 3 months now and follows us everywhere. Think it’s pretty normal 😊
