So... finally, after four VERY long months... my Savvy cat is home Smile. Many 100 mile round trips, home checks, questions... but she's home and the sheer joy to see her running and climbing after being in a tiny room in the rescue for so long. Made it all worth it

She’ll love that chick. It’s a toy and a meal in one.

How many cats have you got now? I love your garden and that tree is just perfect for her.

  1. That's my limit now! Fortunate enough to have the space/garden for them all. She's had a lovely day exploring and is now tucked up with her food.

What a magnificent cat. She'll be so much happier with space to climb around in.
What on earth do the other cats make of her?Grin

The other cats are curious. To say she is unimpressed would be a massive understatement so she's being kept separate from them for a while. She's small but VERY powerful, I'm quite shocked!

Hi OP. I remember reading some of your previous thread. We have a similar rescue. From your comments, what did the sanctuary say about keeping her with other cats? We were advised that our boy would tolerate dogs but not other cats unfortunately. It will vary from individual cat to individual cat of course, and our boy was neutered late as an adult, which might be part of the issue with him. You will probably find that she gets even stronger as her muscle tone recovers after being cooped up, and watch out for those teeth and claws. If you usually use a cattery if going on holiday, (I assume not), be aware that a few won't take Savannah/Bengal types. It's been a challenging few years at times here with our boy, but interesting and rewarding, and he's definitely 'one of us' now. Good luck!
