Bridechilla

So do I we've had three. Two came at the same time a cat who was wonderful and a week later a kitten given to us by a vet. The cat chose my daughter at the refuge and loved her the most. The kitten was let out by a visitor when we were going to get her spade and had three kittens one ginger markings on white, one blodges of dark grey and the one we kept was grey tabby with white chest and legs. Mum was the patchwork type so they looked like each bit of her and they were all naughty. She was killed on the road coming home for tea and her daughter went three weeks later. Found near the train line by the vet about half a mile away. We think she was looking for mum.
My daughters was just like mummy of twos almost exactly only older and fatter. She was a wonderful cat.
The previous one was my sons long haired tortie and looked just like Ruth Brown's Flossie in the storybook and we suspect a young girl stole her.
All the other cat we have had have been ginger. We are not very lucky with cats. We live rurally, idyllically for a cat yet we have had lots killed on our village road. I've said no more. These photos are great I just had to look at the thread.

I've never owned a cat. What exquisite creatures. Beautiful markings.

My naughty tortie...very vocal and can be quite shy. Also somehow starfishes my bed so I end up in weird sleeping positions so as not to disturb her Confused

Some gorgeous torties on this thread Smile

So many beautiful (naughty?) torties Smile
I love torties, they are just stunning cats. Here’s ours. She makes it her life’s work to be naughty though - I’d never heard of that being a tortie thing until her first trip to the vets when he warned us, and he was right!
