Stud tail?

One of my cats (unneutered indoor male) has stud tale. I have him booked in for the snip but wondered if there are any stud tail remedies that might help? I'm aware neutering doesn't always resolve it completely.

It will probably sort it out though. Do the op, then cross that bridge if and when you come to it.

My neutered male also has it this year. The vet says it's the unsettled weather - swinging from cold to hot. She's seen a lot of it this year.

What is stud tail?

Fluffycloudland77 · 30/05/2018 18:38

Greasy fur and acne at the base of unnuetered cats tails. Grim.

Eugh yuk!

Thanks guys Smile hopefully the op sorts him out!

He was in the vet late last year and they just thought it was dirt then, never really looked into it. But to be fair he was very unwell so they had bigger concerns!
