They have a catflap but no..door open goes out, door shut meows open the door stands and stares as if to say what are you doing.

Anyone else have this? I have no idea why they won't use the catflap!

Is it 'cos you is their slave?

Mine have a catflap but there is nothing better than getting the human to do door duty.

You know that they'll use the catflap if you're not there. I once had a three hour stand off with much meowing over my unwillingness to open a door for them.

Well they have to give the human slave a job to do. You should just feel honoured that they chose you for such a task

I feel I should tip my hat and say "Sir" "madam" each time they pass me going out or coming in. Tomorrow I'm refusing...

DSis has the same, except hers is door AND window. "No Mama, need the window not the door" followed by "but Mama need the DOOOOR, window no good". She has a cat flap that she uses perfectly well when the house is empty, but if mama is there she HAS to do the door & window for her.
