Trampoline as makeshift catio?

Its hot and my usually indoor cat wants to be outside. Don't blame her. But we are still waiting to get our garden catproofed (busy road nearby and neighbour has dog). Is it safe to pop her on the trampoline which has a 8ft zip up net all around it as a makeshift catio? She seems quite happy being enclosed - just sits and watches birds.

Doesn't she climb the sides and escape? Mine would.

If it’s in sun it will be very hot . But yeah I would assume she will ruin the netting climbing up. If not why not I guess

Doesn't seem to. Her previous owner had a catio so she seems to think it's the same thing. Maybe best when I am nearby only. Sitting in the garden with her on her leash right now which is lovely, but I have to crack on and do some housework soon

Its in the shade but yes --- maybe I had better wait until the Katzecure people have done their thing!

Careful the trampoline base doesn't get hot, if you chose to use it maybe put a blanket on it.

Aww hello Georgia! I wondered how she was doing. It's nearly a year since I collected her and I still think about her owner. Snorg also looked super cute in that jacket.

I've still got the batman jacket one of the other cats had, but they aren't keen on wearing it!

My outdoor cats favourite place is the trampoline so I don't see why not. You can get the wee tent tops for a lot of trampolines that might help keep the heat off.

My chickens lived in my trampoline for a day last year and didn't escape.
