Cat litter - World’s Best vs Oko Cat’s Best

Has anyone used both of these in the past and if so, which one would you say is better? Also, are they the same type of litter do you know (wood fibre/pellets)?

I’m using Oko at the moment, but am considering giving World’s Best a try. Thanks!

I use worlds best and find it excellent. Clumps v well and contains smell great as well. I only need to do a full change once a week. Not tried the other one so cant comment on that .
Worlds best is made of maize i believe.

Ps i buy big bag from amazon and it lasts about 6 weeks for one cat ( who poohs and pees a lot ).

AnnaMagnani · 12/05/2018 11:22

I think it's personal preference. We've used both, they are fairly similar but prefer Cat's Best as it was slightly easier to skip out of the litter tray.

Got both delivered in giant sacks from Zooplus.

Toddlerteaplease · 12/05/2018 11:48

I use interstand. I only need to change it once a month.

Sunshine49 · 12/05/2018 11:59

I only change my cats’ litter trays once a month and use Oko Cat’s Best - do you think I should be changing more often? They’re both indoor cats at the moment but will be going out into the garden next month!

I loved World Best and i found the cheapest place for it on Amazon. I got caught out one week so i bought the cheapest odour control stuff from Sainsburys and ive never looked back tbh.

flapjackfairy · 12/05/2018 19:06

Am i changing my cat litter too often then ? Should i be leaving it longer than a week ? Z

dementedpixie · 12/05/2018 19:08

Cats best oko plus tracks really badly so I have worlds best instead.

This is worlds best

Yes it's made from maize as I just checked the bag

Furano · 13/05/2018 10:35

I use Oko. havent found a huge issue with tracking but I do have a mat down.

It can go up to a month without changing just scooping.

TheSecondOfHerName · 13/05/2018 17:43

Cat's Best have a non-tracking version: Nature Gold (Smart Pellets)

dementedpixie · 13/05/2018 18:18

I used to use the smart pellets but they were out of stock on zooplus for a while so gave up on them (plus my cats tend to go to the toilet outside now)

Sunshine49 · 14/05/2018 08:59

Thanks everyone! I've found Oko to be very good at containing smells, although it does track quite badly. I've also found the new version doesn't always clump very well around wees, meaning there are lots of little bits that take forever to scoop up out of the tray!

Dementedpixie, thanks for sharing the pic of the World's Best - I might give it a try. Is it best to try a new litter just in one tray at first, in case the cats don't take to it? It looks very similar to Oko so sure there wouldn't be a problem, but better safe than sorry.

Thanks!

When i changed litter i added some of the new litter to the existing stuff so it wasnt a big change all at once.
