Picked my two new delights up from the shelter this morning!
Sat wondering if I'm being a good cat-slave, ones asleep in the carrier and one has learned to open the door and gone to hide under the beds upstairs so it's all quite quiet at the moment...

Aw look at them! I'd say you are doing well to get close enough for a photo.
I picked up my 2 from the rescue on Saturday and they hid from sight until Sunday night! They are still very weary but have allowed a few cuddles.
How old are Enid and Brian?

Wolfiefan · 02/05/2018 14:44

Ha I came on to tell you you're not an owner. You're a slave. You've worked that out so I would say you're doing great! Grin
Gorgeous faces.

Want2beme · 02/05/2018 14:51

Welcome to cat slaves. They're gorgeous. They look very happy.

OhHolyFuck · 02/05/2018 14:54

Thank you! I feel a bit like I did after I had ds1 - excited but realistically no actual clue what I'm doing!
They're 10, their previous owners got divorced and neither wanted them so they've been in a shelter for about 6 weeks

Poor babies! I am so glad that they have found a loving and good slave!

Want2beme · 02/05/2018 15:18

Aprilmightbemynewname, just what I was thinkingWink

Your floof is gorgeous. Puts me in mind of the ZZ Top song "She's got legs, she know how to use 'em". Sorry if Dcat's a gentleman?

Aprilmightbemynewname · 02/05/2018 15:19

I won't tell Hamish you said that!!

Chunkamatic · 02/05/2018 16:01

Oh you have done a lovely thing by rescuing them. And even lovelier that you have given them a leopard print cat bed!
I hope you have many happy cat slave years ahead.

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 02/05/2018 16:25

Congrats - we'll expect regular progress updates.
Great names btw Grin.

Toddlerteaplease · 02/05/2018 16:48

They are gorgeous. Well done for adopting older cats.

OnTopOfSpaghetti · 02/05/2018 17:01

Aw lovely cats, enjoy!

Vinorosso74 · 02/05/2018 17:23

Beautiful cats. Older cats in pairs do take longer to rehome so good on you for taking them.

ElizaDontlittle · 02/05/2018 18:50

Gorgeous cats. Agree they will have been harder to place and they have a happy hone with you for their twilight years. My older cat is 10 (ish) and she is a joy. Full of bounce. Slow to trust though - hope yours are soon purring on your knee like my Hetty.

Are they identical? Good luck with that!
