Obie shave coming up...

Tomorrow the fat, unfaithful ginger one will have to leave Thelma's chaise longue, where he is hand fed lamb shank(!!!!!), to head for the vets, prior to his biannual fatgit shave on Friday.

Before and after photos to follow Grin

I do hate having to do this but seeing as he won't let any of his women groom him, it is sadly a necessity as his undercoat is matted to hell!

Wouldn't you be a bit hurt if one of his wives was allowed to groom him and you weren't?

He's back...looking very sorry for himself... and very bald :D He has buggered off to Thelma's for sympathy but I promise to take a pic as soon as he returns!!!!

And yes he has already been a lot more affectionate... or maybe he just needs reassurance that I won't do anything else to him Grin

Poor Obie! I am so glad he is ok though. I bet he's milking it at Thelma's ...

I don't suppose there is any point to seeing if a professional groomer can't keep him beautiful to avoid the shaves?

Struggling to get a decent pic as he keeps running off! (or waddling off!) But caught him in my veg trug this morning and with DS1 having a bit of fuss :)
