Anyone know what the heck is going on with my cat's pupils? One is oddly shaped and the other always much thinner. She doesn't seem to have difficulty seeing?

Have you taken her to the vets?.

CaptainKirkssparetupee · 17/04/2018 17:26

anisocoria?

Rachyabbadabbadoo · 17/04/2018 17:27

Can be a sign of a head injury, so do take her to the vets.

Please go to a vet. My cat had this a couple of months ago and suddenly one night turned into a huge swelling above her eye, turned out to be an abscess in her eye socket caused by a tiny piece of grass

Vets booked in for Friday, I was having a bit of trouble explaining on the phone what I thought was wrong because it's so odd! Thanks for the replies

What did the vet say?

Myfwyn · 22/04/2018 19:04

She's back in tomorrow for some more tests, they're not sure if it's an abscess in the eye or something behind it that could be putting pressure there Sad.

The vet said it doesn't seem to be causing her immediate pain which I suppose is a relief, but i have a feeling it's going to be a surgical fix.
