Worms

Asking for advice. Cat keeps coming into our garden to do a poo. It’s riddled with worms (saw about 10 in its poo). I am worried my dog will get them, although he is wormed regularly. The cat is owned, has a collar on.

This is in Spain. What can I do?

I'm guessing your dog will be fine. Worms get into the system through fleas really. Poor cat though. Can you talk to the owner? Or just give it a tablet?

Am thinking I could give it a worming tablet but is that being cheeky cos I am not it’s owner?

Could you attach a note to its collar? I'd be a bit wary of giving it a tablet just in case it's on some other meds that are incompatible, and becomes ill.

You can't worm someone else's pet. Shock

So just put loads of cat repellent down? Although once the ultimate cat hating terrier arrives home I think the cat may decide to poo in its own garden.
