Dead critters deposited daily

I live in a rural location and my cat - male, just over a year old is constantly bringing in his half eaten creatures. I'm talking huuuge rats, half rabbits (having dragged the entrails and crap through the dining room) yesterday a dove. Always deposits them in the same place.

There's probably no way of stopping him but would it help if I had his balls neutralised?? I didn't get him done as when we got him we lived miles from anywhere.

Yes he should have been neutered already. He could be contributing to kitten populations. Don't know if it will curb the hunting

cats can travel miles. he needs to be neutered

A serial killer who stays close to home though , can you imagine him as an entire testosterone fuelled lad?.

True, he's generally within calling distance, although he has been apprehended scooting down the track from the woods when I have come home unexpectedly early

Why is he not neutered?!

I'm not sure if this is scientifically possibly but our boy was 18 months when we adopted him and had balls the size of mangoes. He still has a very Tom cat vibe about him and used to hunt prolifically until we moved into the city.

We have a 12 year old neutered male who brings things in daily! I don’t mind it though.

I really think your boy should be neutered regardless.

My 10 year old is another serial killer. The only thing he didn’t kill was the hedgehog who came to visit.

Mines is neutered. He's two and is a prolific hunter. Lock the cat flap and make him leave his trophies outside.

Not sure if neutering would make much difference tbh.

Mine is neutered . Yesterday he brought a mouse up to my bedroom. The day before he sicked up what I can only presume was a dead rabit on the kitchen floor. I’ve been tried locking the cat flap..... he forces his way out again and again and again to the point I’m worried he will injure himself . I’ve run out of ways of keeping him inside so I just sleep in the hope he decides anything worth catching is worth eating rather than giving it to me as a ‘gift’!
