We moved house took all good advice re cats have felliway plugged in all over but it's been 19 nights of our lovely and usually quiet fella making brrrr mewowwwww brrrrrr noises scratching the carpets and generally being a pain in the arse. Daytime he's fine but bedtime is when he starts. We leave lights on for them they're fed watered, have a litter tray each and we play with both of them a fair bit especially before bed.

This morning he's been sick, couldn't do it on the hardwood floor nope chose the new carpet and decided 3 times in different areas should be enough. I'm starting to worry about him and wonder if he's very anxious still.

He's clingy which is very unlike him, cat proofing is being sorted soon so he can go out - he loves the outside.

Can anyone give any advice, we're so knackered from not getting enough sleep!

Have you tried Zylkene on his food? Usually used to chill them out for an occasion (like vets or firework night) for a few days before and after, but he may have got himself into a vicious circle of being so stressed about the new place that he can't relax enough to get used to it.

Zyklene can be bought in PAH or some pharmacists. It does work.

Should I give it just before bed or a little bit before?

I tend to just give it with their normal wet feed, so a capsule every morning & night. It comes in those little gelatine capsules, so you can pull it apart and sprinkle the powder on the food. Mine seem to really enjoy it, so it isn't bad tasting or anything.
