How to stop a cat jumping out a first floor window??

We have a cat who is desperate to get out of our bedroom window.

Coming into summer we will want to have the window open when we sleep - does anyone have any recommendations for a screen etc that we could secure over the open window?

A roller blind? Or keep the cat out of your bedroom at night.

Also just to check, is your cat neutered? Unneutered cats more likely to want to escape when in season.

Flat Cats im first floor and have had mine for two years. They are very strong. Is she allowed out otherwise?

Keep it closed?
They don’t have thumbs (I learned that from ‘Meet the Parents’) so the cat can’t open the window.

Another vote for flat cats. I can have my windows as wide open as I like & my indoor kitties can't get out. One tried, very determinedly once, but failed miserably.

Yes she is allowed out normally (we live in a house) but just has some weird fascination with our bedroom window - she will zoom in from any part of the house if she even hears you move the handle
