Woke up in the early hours to my big boy cat jumping on the bed and he was making an odd noise like he was clearing his throat. Diddnt think too much of it but having come downstairs this morning I see that he has helped himself to a left over chicken carcass that DH forgot to put in the outside bin 
He's eaten some breakfast but is still making the throat clearing noise so I'm worried there is a chicken bone stuck. No chance of getting into his mouth to have a look either.
I've kept him in and I'm WFH today do I can keep an eye on him- do I need to take him to the vet?
