DH and I adopted kittens from a friend's cat's litter 2 years ago. I've never had cats before (DH is the cat fan) but absolutely loved them. However, since becoming pregnant with our 1st DC I just can not stand them. All I see is their neediness and the mess they create. It's become even worse since DC was born. DH is pretty annoyed about it as it was a joint decision to adopt them. I'm not being horrible to them (still feed them etc!) but just can't bring myself to stroke them or hang out with them. Did anyone else have this with their cats when babies came into the mix? Will I start liking them again at some point?!
