Tulips and cats

Read recently that tulips are very dangerous for cats...well these beauties have just popped up in our garden!

Can someone please confirm that these are tulips and that we do need to get rid of them asap for our cats safety...

It's mostly the bulb which is toxic and that is likely to be several inches below the soil surface so I wouldn't worry too much.

the orangey ones are tulips, the blue are grape hyacinths /muscari. I have no idea about the impact on cats though.

There was a cat in the press recently who died from cut tulips. Their my favourites but I’ll never have them in the house again.

Yes, they look like tulips to me.
