And what does that all cover? Trying to budget sensibly here ...

Litter is £6 every few months as they very, very rarely use it but scared to get rid of the litter box just in case!

Less than £22 a month on Felix sachets as I buy them in bulk and she doesn't go through them all.

£8 every few months on Broadline for fleas and worms.

No insurance. She was a farm cat from a feral colony. She adopted us and managed to brake her leg before we had even considered insurance (or ownership of her for that matter!) We paid £450 for her leg to be pinned.

She's our baby now but as she has the usual feral cat health issues and previous surgery we'll just take another financial hit if anything else happens. Insurance would likely get out of paying up if we did have it.

I have 2 indoor cats who wouldnt go outside even if i made them and they go through probably £20 worth of cat litter and maybe £30 in food a month? But I don't have pet insurance for them as they're indoor cats. I use catsan clumping because it clumps well and I can't be assed with non clumping litter. They eat Felix pouches and Purina dry food, too scared to change their food because one of them has issues aiming when she poops in the litter boxes and I don't want to risk cat diarrhoea all over the floor Blush

2 large indoor babies

B+m bargains 30 litre wood pellet litter £5.59 lasts 7 days (2 large trays) so 3 per month £16.77
Sheba wet food - 4 pouches per day . £4 per box 12 (or sometimes the boxes of 40 are on offer ) £40 Vet wanted us to use expensive royal canin but they won’t touch it. They also won’t touch cheaper stuff.

Royal canin ragdoll dry biscuits - 2k is £15. One bag lasts about 6 weeks.

So about £66 per month for the 2 and then add £25 on top for insurance
