Hello :) my 6 month old kitten is now 7 days post spay. She has been for a check up this morning as I noticed a lump at the surgical site and was told that it’s a severe reaction to internal sutures... but everyone on google suggests this is fairly normal, especially with an active cat who has been bordering on impossible to contain! So does this sort of thing happen often? My little one has had lots of issues since we got her 3 months ago and I am developing quite bad pet anxiety and need reassurance...
I’ve added a pic of the lump. You can only see it when she’s stretched right out which is why I only just noticed it. It’s about half a cm raised. It isn’t bothering her in any way, she’s completely fine otherwise!
