Fish cakes.

We are lucky enough to have been allowed to serve two darling tortie sisters.

Naturally, they have the very best we can afford bestowed upon them; excellent quality food, toys, cuddles. Everything.

It's their 1st birthday in April and because I am a loopy cat lady I want to get them some treats.

Is anyone else as loopy caring as me and if so do you have any ideas of what I can get my PFB's? Can I make them a cake made out of fish?? Does anyone else do this or have I totally lost it??

Good for you. I always mark my girls adoption day. I love the idea of a cake made from fish. But they might not eat it. So buy/ make a cake for yourself And and blow candles out on their behalf.

They might like those Applaws fish fillet things? They are like a treat food of pure fish.

Not cake-shaped, granted. But consider them cat cupcakes. Wink

I didn't do a cake but did provide extra dreamies and decorated the house a bit... I convinced myself this was for her instagram followers Blush

@Toddlerteaplease (fabulous name, are you an early 00's house music fan as wellGrin) someone got my girls some of that pawsecco shite stuff and they hate that so I maybe i have some 'secco for myself as well as cake. Fabulous idea.

They get more dreamies when I'm merry so win win for everyone

For Leroy's Homing Day Anniversary I got him one of those (Sheba I think) round tray thingies because it was fairly cake shaped. He didn't eat it.

I got him a lovely big round corrugated cardboard scratch tub as well... which he ignored.

Ungrateful git.

(He does like his tub now, fortunately. Almost as much as the battered old Amazon box that he can't quite fit in. 🙄)

We stick candles in a grilled mackerel and gather round to sing at the bemused cats. We buy them presents too
One memorable year I decided party poppers were a good idea. I had to peel the cats off the ceiling and they were nervy for th r rest of the day

Op, I have no idea what house music is. I drink my tea very milky and my colleagues nicknamed it toddler tea. I bought some Pawsecco for Pinkspakly's Harry, I believe he quite liked it!

I would get them a plague rat each ( genuine cat toy).
Mine is rigid in his eating habits. One flavour of one brand of dried cat food, plus a lik-e-liks at 1830 on the dot.
Celebratory food would be viewed with utmost suspicion.
