I took mine out just now as she hasn't seen it before, there are 3 pawprints in the snow as she quickly bounced back inside Grin

I thought she'd be more curious!

Mine is not impressed.
She went out early this morning, 10 seconds later she ran back in! Not been out since.

Allergictoironing · 01/03/2018 14:00

Mine think the snow is fine - pretty to look at through the window especially when it's teeming down. Of course as indoor cats they don't actually go OUT in it... Grin

TheLongRider · 01/03/2018 14:39

This "Beast from the East" loves it. She waits for you to throw snowballs for her and goes hunting in the snow. Her fur is so short the snow doesn't stick to her. The boy cats are curled up in balls ignoring the weather.

They are all on lockdown so the garden birds can eat before the blizzards.

He’s sitting at the door glaring at it. He is not impressed. 😹

Giraffesarequitetall · 01/03/2018 14:42

Ours don’t like it, never seen them both inside so much!

SleepingInNewYork · 01/03/2018 14:47

Yes but he is a Maine Coon so perhaps somewhere in his distant breeding he considers snow to be a normal winter occurrence!

sportyfool · 01/03/2018 15:01

My kittens loved it , running round like loons but they soon got cold and came in!!

GingerPCatt · 01/03/2018 15:04

Girl cat is hugging the radiator. Boy cat has been out (briefly) a few times. He’s inside but so not impressed. He keeps grumping at me to change the weather. Grin

He's playing in it!

LanguidLobster · 01/03/2018 15:25

Weeds!! He's gorgeous. I think you should join him to show solidarity

I was standing out there in my role as door operator! When I called him back in he was straight back out the cat flap. He's been trying to eat it too!

Toddlerteaplease · 01/03/2018 17:13

Mine had a quick walk around the garden. But as it was up to their armpits they didn't stay out long. But they did look adorable with snowflakes on them.

Persians of the Antarctic!

Weedsnseeds1 · 01/03/2018 17:37

Snow due to really hit here in about 2 hours time. Be interesting to see how he reacts when it's deep!

Hookedoncatnip · 01/03/2018 18:11

Mine has been in and out. Sometimes for as much as 10 minutes which is impressive.

Her little cat friend has been hanging around outside. She'll go out and sit with him/her for a bit and then come in and look at him through the window. We think she's been trying to get him to follow her in as she doesn't want to sit outside. He's not brave enough.

SpadesOfGlory · 01/03/2018 18:16

Mine went out for 3 hours today!! I was so worried but he eventually came back. Didn't faze him at all! This photo was yesterday. There's about 5 inches of snow here today.

My girlie insisted she wanted to go out, after examining the snow through the window, once window was opened and she realised it was cold, she was having none of it. Turned around and came back in.

yawning801 · 01/03/2018 18:21

My girl has been in and out like a feline yo-yo since I got home. She stays out for a minute at the most, bouncing and galloping around the garden, then haring back to the door where I'm waiting to let her in!

QueenOfTheHighCs · 01/03/2018 18:28

Mine is freaking me out as he hasn't come in yet and I usually lock him in about now. He's a Maine Coon, so probably enjoying it, but can someone reassure me that he'll stay warm enough???

Ski37 · 01/03/2018 20:45

We’ve had lots of snow showers but it didn’t really settle. Cat has spent a few happy hours trying to catch the snow flakes and looking very perplexed when they disappear. When he realises he’s covered in the stuff he shakes himself like a dog and starts again. He’s not quite as keen on the wind we have now though and has curled himself up into a ball to pretend it isn’t happening.

Mine looked like they were swimming in it. It was so cute!

InappropriateGavels · 01/03/2018 22:32

I'm still trying to figure out what he meant by this little performance:
www.socimage.com/media/1724824514406492901_6705129585

He stepped outside today, about two feet away from the back door then promptly came back inside and been curled up for the rest of the day.

weedsnseeds - Grin what a fantastic cat, looks like he's having a great time!

BluebellTheDonkey · 01/03/2018 22:33

Boy cat really wanted to go out and play in it, but kept trying then running back in after a few seconds! Girl cat hasn't even contemplated it. And we've only got a light sprinkle here. Not very hardy, my catsGrin

Taffeta · 01/03/2018 22:36

Not a fan. Skips in it a bit madly if we are out there but otherwise lazing indoors.

Has discovered can sit above oven when it’s on for extra warmth. Blocking the vent Hmm

mimibunz · 01/03/2018 22:38

My boy loves it. He was scampering about for 10 minutes then legged it inside to meow if I wanted to join him.
