Frustrated!!

I have two 8 month old sibling cats.
Love them, they're like my babies.

Our male is super greedy! He eats everything in sight, including his sisters food. Literally, every single bit. His sister is a major grazer. I am so stuck with what to do. When I feed them, our girl will go and have a few bites, then walk away. She will inevitably return later for a few more bites. Her brother eats all of his immediately, then will go and eat hers. I have tried feeding in separate rooms, but that doesn't work because as stated above, she's a grazer and would mean they were separate all day in different rooms. I can't sit and watch them every time they're fed as I have other commitments at times.

I am so stuck!! Our boy is over weight and needs to lose weight. Our girl is much slimmer but thankfully not underweight.

Has anyone got any ideas on what I can do here?

Teach them to have meal times 2/3 times a day only. Put food down for 15/20 minutes and then pick it up again. Girl cat will learn to eat when food is available if no grazing is possible.

Otherwise, you could try those microchip pet feeders that only open to the right cat based on microchip. It might take them some time to learn to use them...
