Eaten alive by flea (or fleas!) last night!

Probably my own fault as I tend to only flea treat the cat in the summer months-but-I have never seen or been bitten by a flea in the winter before, in years of having cats!

Can I ask what flea treatment people are using at the moment? I did read last summer that Frontline wasn’t as effective a step it used to be-what do you use and where do you buy it?

I use Advocate, but I've been struggling with fleas for months. I sprayed the whole house last summer and thought I'd got rid of them but one hopped onto me the other day Sad. I think they must be becoming resistant to all the normal treatments.

Oh, and I get it from the vets.

Also use advocate from the vet.

Advantage (which was what the vet prescribed once -for £15 a month) but we get it online for less than 1/2 that price. And a huge can of indorex for the bed and anywhere else they regularly chill out if I ever get bitten (I am a magnet to bitey things and I react very strongly!) We use about a can every year or so (but we only have a small flat)

Bravecto.
I also recommend diotamaceous earth for the carpets etc.
